Our Farms

Seajoy has almost 3,000 hectares (7,500 acres) of Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) under cultivation in Ecuador, Nicaragua and Honduras. Approximately 75 percent of our production comes from our farms in the Gulf of Fonseca, along the Pacific coast border of Honduras and Nicaragua.

It takes about 90 days to grow our shrimp from the time we introduce them to our ponds. Our farms in the Gulf of Fonseca average three growing cycles a year.
